Nice
I saw this attractive paint job on a walk into the Hutt this week. It covers one of those ugly boxes that I think contain cabling and wotnots for telecommunications. It was very striking and very well executed. The remarkable thing about it was that it was in Moera. This can only be a slip up by the Hutt City Council. I am pretty sure it is their policy to only allow such attractive features in Eastbourne or Woburn. They much prefer to festoon the the lesser 'burbs with advertising billboards and ugly bus stops plastered with advertisements for personal lubricants and the like.

Thank you for bringing this to our attention.
ReplyDeleteYes, it was an error, the job sheet was supposed to be for Khandallah and was signed by Moira Fitzwilliams-Kennedy. By an error in font on the Word document the geographic location was diminished and Moira's Christian name highlighted hence the installers error in completing the job in Moera.
Never fear, our policy is that when a mistake is made we will remedy immediately. Our after-hours team will erase the offending mural this weekend and re-install where it is meant to be in Khandallah.
