The wind and rain was still hanging about yesterday, but this morning the day dawned clear, though cool. It was sunny and pleasant when I got off the bus just on five c'clock, so I walked the way home via the beach. I have never seen so much driftwood there before - usually there is just a lot of kelp and other seaweeds after a high sea. A nice end to a busy but satisfying day.
