Don't think they will quite be up to Auckland's display last night! The carnival this afternoon was a very tatty affair. Didn't bother with the fire show - saw the sculptures and find the idea of watching effigies burn a little creepy. So, I hope the fireworks justify the my money splashed out by the city council.
Gandalf did a good job of the fireworks. Think we should ask him back next year!
