A very exciting weekend for my little car. It can sometimes sit at home, in the garage, for weeks on end. Yesterday it not only had an outing to the supermarket, but also a visit to a petrol station - it's first refuel since July. Carbon footprint-wise we are feeling rather virtuous. Today it has an exciting run all the way to Seatoun.
My dad was also Bob. Bob knew lots about cars and machinery and maybe would have some sage advice about short runs versus extended trips; but I don't so good on you I say!

I just don't have any reason to do a long trip! Very important for the life of the battery though.
