Lighthouse Cinema

The Lighthouse is a Petone gem, and I managed to fit in two movies yesterday. I highly recommend Bill Cunningham. He is a darling of a man, and his story and outlook on life and work is brilliant. I do enjoy a good doco. Not sure what I think of Incendies. Not a setting or political situation I fully understand, will have to research. Same sort of reaction I had to The Constant Gardener.

  1. Bill Cunningham New York is a treat. It is so good to have a story made of someone like him. Money is not the thing that drives him but a love of something that he is interested in does. It was also fun to see places that I have been to in New York and, in Paris, I have had breakfast in that same hotel coffee bar he was interviewed in.

  2. Wow! You have travelled well. The sort of movie that uplifts you, a glimpse of the human spirit at it's best.
